BIOMASS TO GRAPHENE
The Same Waste. An Even More Valuable Destination.
Graphene is one of the most sought-after advanced materials in the world.
White Lion produces it — starting from scrap tires and biomass.

THE OPPORTUNITY
A Material the World Needs More Of.
Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms with properties no other material can match — stronger than steel, more conductive than copper, and an exceptional barrier against gases and moisture.
Industries across battery manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, and advanced composites are actively seeking reliable commercial supply. Demand is growing. Quality supply is limited.
White Lion’s Biomass to Graphene pathway produces commercial-grade graphene starting from the same carbon-dense feedstock streams that power our energy pathway — adding a significantly higher-value product to an already compelling platform.

THE PATHWAY
Four Stages. One Remarkable Destination.
Stage 1 — Pyrolysis Scrap tires or additional sources of biomass enter the WL-Series reactor. Thermal decomposition in an oxygen-free environment produces oil, syngas, and solid carbon — carbon black from tires and plastics, biochar from plant-based material.
Stage 2 — Carbon Black to Graphite Carbon black undergoes controlled thermal and chemical processing that reorganizes its molecular structure into graphite — a more ordered, layered form of carbon.
Stage 3 — Graphite to Graphene Graphene is produced from graphite through one of several methods selected based on the target application and purity requirement:
- Liquid-phase exfoliation — the most commercially scalable approach
- Chemical oxidation and reduction — for functionalized graphene applications
- Chemical vapor deposition — for high-purity precision applications
Stage 4 — Commercial-Grade Graphene Flakes The result is application-ready graphene with verified properties — ready for integration into buyers’ manufacturing processes.

WHERE GRAPHENE GOES
High-Demand Applications. Across Multiple Industries.
Battery and Energy Storage Graphene-enhanced anodes increase charge capacity, cycle speed, and cycle life — directly relevant to EV manufacturing, grid storage, and portable electronics supply chains.
Advanced Composites and Structural Materials Added to polymers and coatings, graphene produces materials that are lighter, stronger, and more durable. Applications span aerospace, automotive, and construction.
Electronics and Thermal Management Superior electrical and thermal conductivity makes graphene essential for conductive inks, flexible electronics, and heat management in processors and data center hardware.
Water Filtration Graphene oxide membranes are being deployed for advanced water purification and desalination — a particularly relevant application given White Lion’s waste-to-value model.

THE COMMERCIAL ADVANTAGE
One Feedstock. Two Pathways. Maximum Flexibility.
The Biomass to Graphene pathway uses the same feedstock and the same initial process as Biomass to Power. The difference is what happens to the carbon after pyrolysis.
That flexibility gives White Lion project operators the ability to optimize output based on market conditions — shifting between fuel production and graphene production as pricing and demand dictate.
It also opens relationships with an entirely different category of industrial buyer — battery manufacturers, electronics companies, aerospace suppliers, and advanced materials producers — markets that a fuel-only operation cannot access.
Graphene produced from biomass carries something conventionally produced graphene cannot offer: a fully traceable, waste-to-material provenance story that meets the sustainability requirements of the most demanding procurement teams in the world.

WHO THIS IS FOR
Are We The Right Fit?
Battery and EV Supply Chain Companies Domestic, scalable, traceable graphene supply with a clean sustainability credential built in.
Advanced Materials Manufacturers Commercial-scale graphene from waste feedstocks — fully traceable from source to specification.
Electronics and Semiconductor Companies Conductive inks, heat spreaders, flexible electronics — supply your procurement team should be evaluating now.
Project Developers and Investors A high-margin, high-growth product line added to an already strong waste-to-energy business model.

The Platform Is Built. The Window Is Open.
White Lion Energy Group is at an inflection point — technology proven, market positioned, and infrastructure ready to scale. The question is not whether this opportunity is real. The numbers, the science, and the market trajectory answer that clearly.
